우리 연구소는 주택과 도시계획ㆍ재생 분야와 관련하여 사회적 약자들이 직면한 문제들에 대한 현안을 파악함으로써 지역사회의 쇠퇴를 방지하고, 지역사회가 복구될 수 있도록 하며 커뮤니티와 도시의 회복력(resilience) 증진을 통해 지속가능한 도시의 발전을 도모합니다.
 
우리 연구소는 국내외 주택과 도시계획ㆍ재생 분야와 관련한 정책 및 실행에 영향을 미치는 사회, 정치, 경제적 요인에 대한 연구를 수행합니다.
 
도시와 커뮤니티 연구소는 2018년에 설립된 연구법인 입니다. 우리 연구소는 오늘과 미래에 보다 나은 세상을 만들기 위한 창조적이고 혁신적인 아이디어와 담론을 나눌 수 있는 공간이 될 것입니다.

The Urban and Community Research Center is to identify and discuss the economic, social and political challenges and opportunities to housing and urban (re)development at the beginning of the 21st century.

 

We formulate housing and urban (re)development agenda to respond to problems of social disadvantage in order to prevent or reverse neighbourhood decline and promote community and urban resilience for sustainable development.

 

We carry out critical analyses of the social, political and economic forces that affect the operation of housing and urban (re)development policy and practice in Korea and globally.

 

The Urban and Community Research Center is a research-based social enterprise, founded in 2018. We provide a space for exchanging creative and innovative ideas and discourses in order to create a better society today and into the future.
