박한솔은 건축공학을 전공한 후 건설회사에서 공동주택 기획, 계획, 인허가 설계 관련 업무를 주로 했다. 대학시절 네팔에서 1년 정도 머물면서 모험으로 사는 인생에 눈을 뜨게 되었고, 그러한 계기로 베트남에 파견을 나가 하노이 수도 천년 기념 마스터플랜 프로젝트도 참여(2008~2009)하는 등 세계 이곳 저곳을 여행 다니며 다양한 지역과 사람들에 대한 관심을 넓혀왔다.

현재는 서울대학교 환경대학원에서 도시 및 지역계획학을 공부하고 있으며, 인구 감소 및 고령화와 같은 인구구조변화로 인한 도시문제, 주거약자, 교통약자와 취약계층을 위한 주거권, 모빌리티 등에 관심을 가지고 있다. 궁극적으로는 통일시대에 한반도의 각 도시와 지역이 포용적인 삶을 누리는 토대가 되도록 만들어가는데 기여하고 싶다는 꿈을 가지고 있다.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Hansol Park has majored in architectural engineering and worked in an engineering and construction company. She was mainly involved in a management part of apartment housing planning and designing. She has worked abroad in Vietnam to participate in the Hanoi Master Construction Plan Project for commemorating the 1000th Thang Long – Hanoi anniversary (2008 ~ 2009). She has been traveling various countries and cities including staying for a year in Nepal, and has expanded her interest regarding people and regions.

Currently, she is in the master’s course of urban and regional planning at Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Seoul National University. She researches in urban issues due to demographic changes such as population decline and aging as well as equity issues of housing and mobility for disadvantaged people. Ultimately, she hopes to make a contribution for people to enjoy their life in an inclusive society preparing for the era of reunification.
